Mads Frost Bertelsen is head of animal operations in Copenhagen Zoo and an adjunct professor at University of Copenhagen. He is a veterinarian specialized in zoological medicine and a researcher engaged in conservation of endangered species. Mads has participated in field projects from Greenland to South Africa and Saudi Arabia. Mads has additionally authored more than 160 scientific papers and 7 book chapters, and has lectured at multiple international conferences.
